1. What we provide

A chauffeur-driven Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with a professional driver, for local, airport, one-way and outstation travel across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. We do not offer self-drive rentals. Every booking includes a driver.

The vehicle carries a maximum of six passengers plus the driver. We reserve the right to decline or re-allocate a booking where the passenger or luggage count exceeds what the vehicle can safely carry, and will offer a larger vehicle instead.

2. How fares are calculated

Quotes are given in one of two standard forms, and you may ask for both:

• Itemised — the fare, with toll, parking, interstate permit and state entry tax charged at actuals against receipts.
• All-inclusive — a single figure agreed before travel with those costs folded in, stating the kilometres and hours it covers.

An itemised fare is built from:

• Chargeable distance, being the higher of the distance actually travelled and the applicable minimum — 130 km on a one-way drop , 250 km per day on a round trip.
• The per-kilometre rate current at the time of booking (₹19/km round trip , ₹20/km one way).
• Driver bata, charged per day of the trip (₹500 outstation , ₹400 one way), plus a night halt allowance where the driver stays away from base.
• Pass-through costs at actuals: Toll charges, Parking charges, Interstate permit, State entry tax, Hill station charges, Extra luggage carrier.
• GST at 5%, added to the above.

Local hourly packages include the driver and fuel. Extra kilometres and extra hours beyond the package are charged at the published rates. Package hours and kilometres are counted garage-out to garage-in.

3. Payment

We accept Cash, UPI, Bank transfer. An advance confirms the booking; the balance is due at the start of the trip. Advance bookings paid online qualify for a discount.

4. Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup, with a full refund of the advance. Between 24 and 48 hours we retain 25% of the advance; between 6 and 24 hours, 50%; under 6 hours or a no-show, 100%. Approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

5. Waiting time

For airport pickups we track the flight and begin any free waiting period from the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one. We allow 30 minutes of free waiting. Waiting beyond that is charged by the hour at the rate quoted when you book.

6. Night travel

Late-night driver batta applies between 22:00 and 05:59. Standard driver batta covers 06:00 to 22:00.

7. Interstate travel

Journeys crossing a state border require an interstate permit, charged at actuals. We hold permits for Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. Where a route requires a permit we will tell you before you travel.

8. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate passenger numbers, luggage and pickup details when booking. A materially different group size on the day may mean we cannot carry you.
• Smoking, alcohol and any illegal substance are not permitted in the vehicle.
• Any damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger is chargeable.
• The driver is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle. He may decline an instruction that would require unsafe driving, exceed legal limits, or breach a restriction such as a wildlife reserve's night traffic ban. Please do not press a driver to make up time.

9. Delays and matters outside our control

We plan departures with realistic buffers and position vehicles overnight for early starts. We are not liable for losses arising from traffic, road or weather conditions, breakdowns, accidents, strikes, festival or procession road closures, wildlife reserve timing restrictions, or other events beyond our reasonable control. Where a delay is within our control we will make it right.

10. Liability

Vehicles are commercially registered and insured for passenger carriage. Passengers must wear seat belts. We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle, though we will always try to recover and return them.

11. Trademarks

SARA CAB is a registered trademark in India (Reg. No. 4595875, Class 39). Maruti Suzuki and Ertiga are trademarks of Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Ertiga Rentals is an independent car rental operator and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
