Local Ertiga packages in Bangalore — and where “local” runs out
Bangalore is enormous, and an hourly package that ignores that fact turns into an argument at the end of the day. So here is the boundary, plainly.
Inside a local package: the city proper — Indiranagar, Koramangala, Jayanagar, Malleshwaram, Rajajinagar, MG Road and the central business district, plus Whitefield, Electronic City, HSR, Sarjapur and the Outer Ring Road corridors.
Priced per kilometre instead: Nandi Hills, Ramanagara, Bidadi, Hosur, and Devanahalli beyond the airport. Bengaluru airport has its own flat fare, which is almost always cheaper than using a package for a single transfer.
The catch that is specific to this city: Whitefield and Electronic City are both “local” and are at opposite ends of Bangalore. A day that starts in one and must reach the other will use most of its 80 km on that crossing alone. We flag that at booking rather than at settlement.

Package hours and kilometres run from when the car leaves our base to when it returns, not from when you got in. That is the standard in this market. We state it because the operators who do not are counting on the assumption running the other way.
What a realistic Bangalore day looks like
Eighty kilometres is generous here and eight hours is not. Traffic, not distance, is what runs out.
A day that works is three or four stops in one part of the city. Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha and the museums sit close together in the centre. Lalbagh and Bangalore Palace pair reasonably. Bannerghatta is a half-day on its own and should not be combined with anything central.
A day that does not work is anything crossing the city more than once. Our drivers will reorder your list before you set off, which is usually worth more than the extra kilometres you were worried about.

What is outside a local package in Bangalore?

How much sightseeing actually fits in 8 hours and 80 km here?
Less than in any other city we serve, and the constraint is time rather than distance. Three or four stops grouped in one part of the city is realistic. A plan that crosses Bangalore twice will spend the day in traffic instead.
